Reasons moving to Dallas, Texas is a pretty great choice:
You’re about 15 minutes from Dallas Love Field, which makes getting in and out of the city incredibly easy.
The architecture is one of my favorite things about Dallas. You can find everything from historic Tudors and Spanish-style homes to mid-century modern architecture and beautifully designed new construction.
And the neighborhoods actually feel different from one another. Lakewood and East Dallas give you tree-lined streets, character and easy access to White Rock Lake, while the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Bluffview and other established Dallas neighborhoods each have their own architecture and lifestyle.
Dallas also has an incredible selection of highly regarded private schools, including St. Mark’s, Hockaday, Greenhill and Episcopal School of Dallas, along with excellent public-school options that vary by neighborhood and campus.
White Rock Lake is one of the best parts of living in Dallas. Miles of trails, beautiful homes, mature trees and some of my favorite neighborhoods are all just minutes from Downtown Dallas.
And there is always somewhere worth going. Dinner at Lucia, coffee in Lakewood, an afternoon at the Nasher Sculpture Center, a walk around White Rock Lake or a night at the Winspear Opera House.
That mix of beautiful neighborhoods, architecture, culture, restaurants and everyday quality of life is what makes Dallas feel like home.
If you’re thinking about moving to Dallas, I’d be honored to be your trusted Dallas real estate advisor and help you figure out which neighborhood actually fits the way you want to live.
