BIG news in Texas residential real estate for 2022!!! Starting in January 2022, new Texas homeowners who qualify for a homestead exemption will become immediately eligible to receive a property tax reduction when they purchase their property. Those buyers will receive the exemption allocated proportionally from the time they purchase the property.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) announced that the maximum baseline conforming loan limits for mortgages to be acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2022 will be $647,200. That's an increase of $98,950 from 2021! 💰

DFW is ranked the 7th hottest Real Estate Market for 2022!
Overall, the market in DFW is still 🔥We have fewer days on market and fewer listings available compared to September of last year. Collin County average is 12 days on market and Denton County average is 13 days on market, compared to the national average of 43. Although we are bound to slow down a bit, it looks like 2022 is going to be just as great of a year as 2021 has been. We are so excited to see what the next year has in store for us!
