This week I spent time touring the annual Tyler Area Builders Association Parade of Homes, a showcase of newly constructed homes across East Texas. The event highlights the latest in home design, construction techniques, energy efficiency, outdoor living, and lifestyle-focused features.

Whether I'm helping clients buy, sell, build, or invest, continuing education doesn't just happen in a classroom. Walking homes, studying floor plans, meeting builders, talking with designers, evaluating finishes, and seeing emerging trends firsthand helps me better advise my clients and understand what adds value in today's market.

I am so thankful for my career in real estate. Not only do I get the opportunity to help people find vacation homes where they can build lifelong memories while creating income, but I also get to help families find a place that truly feels like home.

This transaction was especially meaningful and deeply personal to me. I was raised in East Texas and moved back about a year ago. Yesterday, my parents moved into their new home …the place where they will spend this next season of life together.
