Just followed up with my last client. In our 20 minute conversation, I heard all of the following (paraphrased):

"Just (one issue I found within 2 minutes) was worth more than what you charged".

"I went from being 100% sure to being unsure thanks to all the problems you found and will be re-negotiating."
"I expected you to take 30 minutes, not (over 2 hours). You really care about doing a great job."
"I had NO IDEA such a nice looking house had such major problems."
"My father looked over your report and told me I made a great selection when picking a home inspector".

I can't tell you how pleased I was to hear all that. Home inspection is definitely my calling and I wished I started years ago.
