Highland Park just made DART history.

In May 2026, residents voted to leave Dallas Area Rapid Transit, making Highland Park the first DART member city to officially withdraw. DART service within the town ended after the election results were certified.

It's a pretty fascinating move for one of the most recognizable communities in Dallas—and part of a much bigger conversation happening across North Texas about transportation, local control, and how cities choose to serve their residents.

These are the things that always save us once school starts.

✨ Touchland hand sanitizers
✨ Replacement Stanley straws
✨ Gift cards for teachers and last-minute thank-yous
✨ A backup water bottle
✨ Extra labels for EVERYTHING

It's amazing how often these little things come in handy once the school year gets busy.

One thing we've learned over the years? Back-to-school is a lot less stressful when you've already thought about the little things before you actually need them.
