- Tips for homeowners living in a flood zone… 💧

1️⃣. Reducing the number of hard surfaces with surfaces that absorb water rather than causing water to run off can reduce the amount of run-off that causes flooding. Permeable parking lots, driveways, and terraces can make an enormous difference. Gravel, grass, pavers with gaps, pervious concrete, etc

2️⃣. Land covered with vegetation absorbs much more water than raw land with exposed soil.
