Houston is a large and diverse metro area, so finding the right place involves more than scrolling through apartment photos. Here are a few things I encourage relocation clients to consider:

🚗 Commute: Where will you work, and how often will you travel there? A home that looks close on a map may feel very different during Houston traffic.

💰 Total monthly cost: Look beyond the advertised rent. Ask about parking, utilities, amenity fees, pet costs, renters insurance, deposits, and how any move-in concession affects the lease.

📍 Lifestyle: Do you prefer city living, a suburban community, nightlife, parks, shopping, or a quieter neighborhood? The right location should support the way you actually live.

📄 Qualification requirements: Before paying an application fee, review the community’s income, credit, rental-history, employment, and pet requirements.
