Our Hannah's House just finished the second annual Purses With A Purpose event!!!!! It was amazing to share domestic violence awareness in our community with other nonprofit leaders of organizations today! The food, speaker, door prizes, decor, and the sharing of the gospel was amazing!!!!! Thank you Kind Hearts Outreach, A Twist of Faith and Mrs. Cynthia for making this day so special....❤️❤️❤️❤️

And another very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers that help us during our Ministry Outreach Event with our unhoused neighbors! Thank you for loving on them and serving with "warmth"! A Twist of Faith, Kind Hearts Outreach, Veryical Storage and the women of OCBF who helped to make it happen with their contribution of meals and housing support services!!! 💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜
At Our Hannah’s House, we believe that every child of God deserves to live in peace, safety, and love — not fear.
Domestic violence isn’t always physical. It can look like:
🌫️ Emotional abuse – constant criticism, humiliation, or control.
💰 Financial abuse – taking your money, limiting access to resources.
📱 Digital abuse – monitoring your phone or online activity.
🕊️ Spiritual abuse – using faith or Scripture to manipulate or control.
If someone’s behavior causes you to live in fear, silences your voice, or strips away your peace — that is not love.
Remember: God calls us to love one another in truth, not control.

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜
This October, Our Hannah’s House stands in prayer, purpose, and partnership with survivors of domestic violence. We believe that every woman and child deserves to live in safety, dignity, and peace — just as God intended.
Domestic violence shatters homes, but God restores hearts. Through faith, healing, and community, we can be a light in the darkness for those still finding their way to safety.

This month, we wear purple to raise awareness, lift survivors in prayer, and renew our commitment to ending abuse through faith, love, and action.
