The fight to repair Dallas City Hall is heating up and Preservation Dallas needs YOUR help!

Dallas City Hall is under threat of abandonment and demolition! This process is moving very quickly and we need all advocates! Preservation Dallas strongly feels that the I.M. Pei-designed City Hall should be assessed by professionals to determine the extent of the building's needs and the true cost associated with those repairs. If the City of Dallas votes to abandon City Hall instead of repair it, the impact will be swift. We feel that in the 47 years of stewardship, the City of Dallas has a responsibility to maintain the people's building for our next generation.

Public Meeting Notice

Preservation Dallas would like to have as many advocates as possible come to City Hall on November 3 at 6pm to share our concerns at a Public Meeting hosted by CM Paul Ridley & CM Cara Mendelsohn. This may be the only public forum to address concerns unless in an upcoming City Council Meeting. The meeting will be located in the auditorium on Level 1 (L1). Please see the flyer at the bottom of this email for more information.
