Today we are just overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to everyone for the gifts, the calls, the texts, the prayers, the flowers, and every message wishing us a Happy Mother’s Day. Every kind word meant more than you know.

But today I also want to speak to the people who may be hurting quietly. Mother’s Day is not easy for everyone. Some have lost their mothers. Some never had the love or protection they deserved from a parent. Some are carrying grief, distance, trauma, or emptiness today. Please know that your pain is seen too.

Family is not always blood. Sometimes the people who love us the hardest are the friends who became family, the grandmothers who stepped in, the women who showed up, stayed consistent, and loved us when life felt heavy. Hold tightly to the people who bring you peace, safety, comfort, and genuine love. Those connections matter deeply.

I especially want to say how much I love Maritssa and Grandma Yoyó for spoiling me today and making me feel so loved. I admire the strength, resilience, and heart that both of you carry. Maritssa, I see how hard you work, how fiercely you love your children, and how much you sacrifice. You are an incredible woman, and I am truly grateful for you both every single day. Thank you for the Bomb ass dinner today. A special thank you to Addy for for wrapping & hand picking my flowers and Elias for all the hugs 🤗

To anyone hurting today: I hope you find comfort in the love that still exists around you, even if it comes in unexpected forms. Sometimes healing begins when we allow ourselves to receive love from the people who choose us willingly.

Today my youngest cuddle bug, my Johnny boy, placed this handmade Mother’s Day gift into my hands and for a moment the world became still. 🥹💙

There is a kind of love that only exists in the heart of a child. Pure. Gentle. Honest. The kind that speaks through paint strokes, handwritten words, and little hands creating something beautiful just for their mother.

He studied the work of Georgia O’Keeffe and created this flower with such care, such intention, and such pride that it brought happy tears to my eyes before he even finished telling me about it. In that moment, all I could think was how blessed I am to be their mother.

I love my children with a depth words will never fully capture. They are the reason behind every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every hard lesson, every goal, every prayer, and every dream I continue to chase. Everything I do in this life is rooted in the love I have for them. They are my why. My purpose. My greatest masterpiece.

I am endlessly proud to have such creative, intelligent, beautiful souls for children. Watching them grow into thoughtful human beings who create, feel deeply, and love authentically is one of the greatest honors of my life. In a world that can sometimes feel loud and heavy, they remind me daily what truly matters.
