It occurred to me today that motherhood has been part of my identity longer than most anything else. My motherhood was born the day Preston was born. I was still a baby myself. But with that came the most powerful type of love: a Mothers Love. He gave me that gift. And I now carry that on to my girls. There’s nothing purer, nothing more honest, nothing more resilient, and nothing more powerful.
