Jarrad Barnes Memorial Fund - Tragically on August 18th Elijah (Eli) lost his super hero dad and we all lost our best friend Jarrad Barnes. Jarrad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly
at the age of 47. Jarrad was a bright light who graced others with his generosity, love, and laughter. Anyone who knew Jarrad know's Eli. After being his foster parent Jarrad adopted Eli at the age of 4. Being a Dad was by far the most important thing in Jarrad's life. Many people often said "Jarrad, you saved this boys life", Jarrad always responded "No, he saved mine".

Many people have asked how they can support Eli and honor Jarrad. We want to rally around Eli with love, stability and minimal change. Jarrad was widely known for his generosity. This fund is going into a trust set-up for Eli towards his future. Jarrad was Eli's sole care taker and his number one wish would be Eli's security. Eli is 14 and entering into his freshman year at his beloved Winston School where he has thrived for many years.

The Jarrad Barnes Memorial Fund has been established to support his son Eli through high school and beyond.
