“I’m waiting for home prices to come down in Dallas…” 👀
A lot of buyers say this — but history shows Dallas real estate has generally trended upward over time, even with market shifts along the way.
The challenge with waiting is that while prices may fluctuate short-term, long-term growth, rising rents, and changing interest rates can still make buying later more expensive overall.
That doesn’t mean everyone should rush out and buy tomorrow.
It means the better question is usually:
“Does buying make sense for *my* situation right now?”
Real estate decisions should be based on your goals, finances, and timeline — not just headlines or fear of timing the market perfectly.
