Office Condos are a common option for those wanting to Own the real estate.
They provide a practical path of RE ownership when finding a viable stand-alone building to purchase is often not an option.
A few things to know about buying an office condo:
-Condos are a viable solution for doctors wanting to own the real estate, often being more affordable & available in general.
-Not known for things like Signage, Visibility or Traffic. You're often trading many of these attributes for sake of ownership.
-For specialists or doctors seeking a more professional practice setting, these can be ideal as your neighbors are more predictable & the overall professional image is maintained.
-Typically subject to a Condo Association (i.e. HOA), where your flexibility in the real estate may have limitations.
-Parking should be studied further as these are commonly parked for Office users, not Medical.
There's many other factors to consider but Office Condos continue to be common forms of real estate ownership for doctors throughout TX.
