If only people could comprehend how hard it is to regain happiness and peace of mind, you would be able to understand why so many people struggle with trust and avoid potential relationships that could lead to heartbreaks and chaos. Because they still recall giving their everything to someone who only left them with scars and the trauma that they still find it hard to forget every night—they simply guard their hearts from any more harm. It's not your place to judge someone for being that way; hardship taught them that self-love comes first.
