Annual Holiday in the Highlands Home Tour
10829 Eden Roc Drive, Dallas TX | Rooth House
I am excited to share that the Rooth House, designed by Carl Rooth and built by Ju-Nel will be featured this weekend on the LHWL Home Tour. There are no interior images of the home in the public domain - this is a rare opportunity.
Lake Highlands Women’s League’s cherished holiday tradition features beautifully decorated homes and festive shopping with proceeds benefiting the community.
Celebrate the season with a peek behind the wreath during the Lake Highlands Women’s League’s 47th Annual Holiday Home Tour: Holiday in the Highlands, presented by Walne Family Holdings, on Friday, Dec. 5. The beloved annual tradition showcases stunning local homes decked out in seasonal splendor, while also supporting the community. Since its inception in 1970, Holiday in the Highlands has raised nearly $4 million to benefit area schools, nonprofits and college scholarships for Lake Highlands High School seniors. The Holiday in the Highlands Sip & Shop, presented by Park Place Dealerships, extends the festivities with shopping among local vendors and artisans, Dec. 4 and Dec. 5
Four beautiful homes in the Lake Highlands neighborhoods of Northeast Dallas will open their doors for Home Tour visitors to explore their unique take on holiday magic. Attendees are sure to be inspired by the charming, creative architecture and home design, paired with equally dazzling décor capturing the spirit of the season.
10829 Eden Roc Drive – Home of Katie & Daniel Sibley – You’ll find this mid-century modern gem of Ju-Nel fame tucked away on the quiet street of Eden Roc where Daniel grew up. When the home was listed in 2020, the Sibleys jumped at the opportunity. Daniel, owner Sibley Design Build, lovingly remodeled the home drawing inspiration from the original 1961 design by owner/architect Carl H. Rooth and landscape architecture by Richard B. Myrick, known for projects like LBJ’s Ranch and NorthPark Center. At Christmastime, the house displays colorful lights and festive décor, a joyful expression of the Sibley’s love for family, tradition, and the mid-century modern spirit of their home.
