Lance Russell Hancock, a Dallas resident for over 40 years, has been listing and selling residential real estate in the Dallas area since 1990. Lance has spent his entire professional life in Real Estate. In fact, he began working in commercial real estate with Vance Miller Interests while he was still an undergraduate at SMU. In 1990, he obtained his real estate license and began working in resid
ential real estate where he has remained up to the present time. Lance joined Dave Perry-Miller and Associates in May of 2001. In the twelve years he has been with Dave, Lance has consistently been among the top selling agents in the company and was named top-producer in 2006. Lance is highly regarded by his peers across his industry and in particular is greatly respected by his fellow associates in the Dave Perry-Miller Offices. Lance was voted by his peers two years in a row to serve on Dave’s advisory council and enjoys helping make decisions to establish and develop standards which shape the company’s future. Lance’s attention to detail, his overt interest in his clients, his love of community, and his proficiency with the many facets of a real estate transaction have enabled him to establish a loyal client base throughout the city of Dallas. His past clients reside in neighborhoods within the Park Cities, Preston Hollow, Devonshire, Briarwood, Bluffview, Oak Cliff, Lake Highlands, Prestonwood, Northwood Hills, Plano, Frisco, Coppell, and other places beyond the Dallas area. Lance loves the various communities of Dallas and its suburbs, and takes great pride in finding just the right house for each of his customers. “Residential Real Estate is such a personal business. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and their families. I want them to know they are getting a good value and that someone who really cares about them is representing their interests. I want my clients to know I will be available to them from the first meeting until long after the closing,” says Lance. Serving the medical and scientific community. Over the last ten years, Lance has developed a close relationship with several department chairpersons at UT Southwestern Medical School. Lance has been designated by certain department heads as the exclusive real estate agent at UT Southwestern to assist with recruiting Ph. D’s and MD’s for research and faculty position within UTSW. This work has become a key focus in Lance’s business and he loves spending days with Doctors and Researchers who are new to the Dallas area and are hoping to become acquainted with the diverse cultural, historical, and economic vitality of the city. Lance is a founding member of the Dallas Symphony Honor Guard and currently serves on its Board of Governors. His fundraising activities include serving on committees for the Dallas Theater Center, The Dallas Zoological Society, and the Dallas Conservatory at Park Cities Dance. Lance is also a 1999 graduate of GDAR’s Leadership Dallas Program, and served on the Leadership Alumni Board in 2001. Lance is married to Belinda Marie Hancock and is a devoted father to four incredibly wonderful children. Lance takes an active role in his children’s school and extra-curricular activities.
