🚨Attention🚨 All Texas home owners! The newly passed Senate Bill 1801 now requires all appraisal districts to verify homestead exemptions every 5 years.

But what does this mean for you? 🤔
If you've had your current homestead exemption for close to or more than 5 years, your county appraisal district will send you a notice by mail to submit a whole new application.
Once you receive your new application, be sure to submit that ASAP so there is not issues with your current and future exemption status.
