Jenny Wood - Compass Real Estate, Dallas Jenny obtained her first real estate salesperson license at the age of 18 in Arkansas.

Jenny Jones Wood has a love for real estate and surrounded herself in many facets of the real estate world from a very young age. Upon graduation from SMU with a BBA in finance and accounting, Jenny worked for Ernst & Young, LLP in Dallas as a real estate consultant where she raised money for real estate investors and valued and priced an upscale ski resort. While at E & Y, she also valued a portf

olio of nursing homes across the country for a large investment fund based in New York City. Jenny graduated from SMU’s Dedman School of Law and practiced real estate law for Kane, Russell, Coleman and Logan P.C., and also worked as Associate General Counsel for a shopping center developer - Weber & Company, Inc. Jenny is an active member of her community. She is a member of the Junior League of Dallas, a volunteer at the Dallas Arboretum and a member of the Family Place. Jenny and her husband, Nathan Wood, live in Preston Hollow with their daughters and son and attend Highland Park United Methodist Church. Jenny chose to make the jump to residential real estate to carry on her love for the business and appreciation of fine homes. She understands purchasing or selling a home is a very personal process and she is confident that her professional background, energy, market knowledge and passion for the business can help you in your home transactions.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been appointed to the SMU Alumni Board. ❤️💙

SMU has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, first as an undergraduate at the Cox School of Business, and later at SMU Dedman School of Law. The education, friendships and opportunities I found there have shaped so much of who I am today and my family’s life.

It’s also an incredibly exciting time for SMU with Dallas continuing to grow as one of the country’s most dynamic cities, SMU’s move to the ACC, and so much momentum across academics, athletics and the University as a whole.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to give back to a University that has given me so much, and I’m excited to serve the SMU community as it continues to do great things!
