Struck out this spring or summer? Don’t hang up your cleats just yet.

If your listing expired, I know it can be discouraging. You put your home on the market, expected a different outcome, and it didn’t happen.

But here’s the thing about baseball…

One strikeout doesn’t end the season.

Fall is a different ballgame. The buyers are different. The competition can be different. And first-time homebuyers are still stepping up to the plate.

So before you decide your opportunity has passed, maybe it’s time to take another swing.

"Delayed does not mean denied"

•Discuss with your agent prior to putting your home on the market your options and what-ifs.

•Remember your why? Job relocation? School district? Downsizing? More space? Financial stability? With this in mind, can you afford not to sell your home?

•Adjust to the market. How much is a coat of paint or new carpet compared to paying another 30+ days of mortgage? These adjustments may not increase your value, but it may help your home sell faster. That's savings right there.

•Staging your home matters. Everyone doesn't have the vision to see beyond. I am those people. I need to see how I look in the home. Not how you look in the home.

•Sometimes its not your home, its the market. Use your time wisely to make all necessary adjustments to make your home stand out!
