Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, Ryan. ❤️
There are birthdays, and then there are birthdays that mark a season of courage, faith, and strength that few people will ever truly understand.
Over the last two months, I watch you walk through what I know is one of the hardest seasons of your life. Day after day, sitting in a hospital room with our newborn son, watching doctors and nurses poke, prod, test, and connect him to machines. Sleeping on a hospital couch. You didn’t leave the hospital one day for a break. As a mother, your heart is breaking, yet somehow you never stop believing.
When there is nothing left to do, you trust God.
When fear tries to take over, you choose faith.
When exhaustion sets in, you choose love.
I watch you carry a burden that no mother should ever have to carry, and yet you do it with grace, strength, and unwavering faith in God’s promises. You create life. You carry our son. And as his life is placed in God’s hands, you show me what true faith looks like.
The Bible says:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” — Proverbs 31:25
That scripture is you.
Ryan, thank you for being the woman who has helped me grow into the man I am today. Thank you for loving me through my flaws, believing in me when I doubted myself, and for walking beside me through every season since we were in high school.
I am so proud of the mother you are.
I am so proud of the woman you have become.
I am so proud to call you my wife.
You have taught me that real strength isn’t loud. It’s found in prayer at 3 a.m., in tears that no one sees, in faith when the answers don’t come quickly, and in choosing God when everything around you feels uncertain.
Today we celebrate you.
Not just because it’s your birthday, but because of who you are—an incredible mother, my best friend, and the greatest blessing God has ever given me.
I love you more than words can express, and I thank God every day that He chose you to walk this life with me.
Happy Birthday, my love. ❤️
