In December of 2013 Michal Saylor made a famous tweet, predicting the demise of bitcoin…
Four years ago, he made a huge pivot… turning $3.9B in debt into a 15 billion dollar bitcoin fortune.
All because he changed his mind on something he thought he understood…
He realized he was totally wrong about bitcoin.
It’s pretty amazing that some of the most anti-bitcoin skeptics from back in the day became some of the biggest proponents of bitcoin a few years later.
Now Saylor’s company, Microstrategy, owns over 250,000 Bitcoins worth around $15 billion USD, which is by far the largest publicly disclosed Bitcoin amount owned by a company.
What changed?
He obviously learned something he did not previously know or understand.
He did his homework and realized he was wrong.
His perspective changed.
This is the exact same thing that happened to me twice over the last two years.
First it was about Grant Cardone…
Second was Multifamily Real Estate…
I NEVER followed Grant until I was invited to an event he was speaking at.
In-fact, I had attended events where he spoke before., but I would always use the time to go up to my room to make a few phone calls, charge my phone, or pack my bag before checkout.
For some reason, Grant’s approach and message did not resonate with me.
Then everything changed…
Everything I thought I knew about Grant was the exact opposite.
The funny part is it did not take weeks, days, or even hours for me to figure this out… I knew within 30 minutes of attending his event.
This guy knows how to build and scale businesses.
Just seeing how he operates his business was a clinic for excellence.
Even if Grant wasn’t going to teach me anything about Multifamily, his excellence in businesses would have been enough to win me over…
You see I had already been to multifamily events at this point.
In fact, I hired a coach that I was paying a significant amount of money to help me break into the Multifamily game.
Maybe it was just me… or maybe Grant’s just a great teacher... but he made all of the complicated things seem really simple.
He made them seem achievable.
And no pun intended, he made me think 10X bigger.
I could barely sit in my chair.
I felt that feeling you get when you find something you've been looking for.
It was flowing throughout my entire body.
I know why people don't get into multifamily real estate.
The same reasons I didn’t.
I didn’t know where to start…
I also thought you needed a bunch of money to get in the game...
That couldn't be further from the truth.
