Prior to moving to Dallas from Arkansas in 1999 to take a position with Panda Energy International, Inc., Alan had worked in the electric utility industry for 13 years. He had put his degree in Electrical Engineering to good use but wanted to become involved in a more service-oriented profession. The spring of 2001 marked the beginning of the fulfillment of that dream – he obtained his real estate
license. Now into his fifteenth year in real estate, Alan has had several successes, both as a buyer’s consultant and a seller’s consultant. He has also been able to utilize his training, and his expertise in resource planning, price forecasting and price structuring gained from his previous profession, in his career as a Realtor®. In his first full year as an Ebby Halliday, REALTORS® agent, Alan attained both the Diamond and Platinum levels within the organization. Being a licensed real estate agent has allowed Alan to meet and help a great many people from all walks of life achieve their dream of homeownership. This has provided him with a true sense of satisfaction and opportunities beyond his expectations. Due to his successes Alan’s business has grown, requiring the addition of a Transaction Coordinator in March of 2014. In early 2015 he once again found that, if he was going to fulfill his mission to provide dedicated service to his clients, he needed even more help. So, in May, he hired an executive assistant to handle all the routine “behind the scenes” tasks and marketing activities. This frees him to devote his time to his first priority – YOU! Alan attributes his successes to God first and then to the deeply-held belief that excellent service is what differentiates him from many of his colleagues. Therefore, Alan is committed to providing his clients with unmatched dedication in fulfilling their real estate goals. When not working, Alan’s enjoys travelling, playing the piano, and snow skiing.
