I’m so very proud of us. It’s amazing to me that we can continue to learn things about each other and these life lessons with each part of this journey together.
I feel so thankful that the Lord has blessed our marriage and our little family.
I’m thankful you love me when I’m being unlovable.
I’m thankful you’re such a fierce protector and provider.

Raising the boys is the best most magical and difficult job I have.
To train them up in the way they should go✝️.
Reminding them their identity is found in the Lord and not what people think or say of them.
(I struggle with this too)
To teach them to treat people with kindness even when it’s not reciprocated.
To discern real friends from fake ones.
And when to walk away and stand your ground.

But there is soooo much goodness between.
The looking back to make sure I’m watching. They tell me I’m beautiful. That I don’t need to dress up or put on makeup. They hold my hand (when no one is watching). They still come and cuddle to watch movies with me. The long long hugs at bedtime even when I’m being a total grump. These boys are my greatest accomplishment in this life. I wish I could have 5 more just like them. I pray for their future wives on the regular.

Thank you Lord for blessing me with this family. I know I fail at something every day..but I promise I’m cherishing them and doing my best.
