I am looking for some input on making bear bait stations. Is this one correct? If not, what should change?

My first sawing customer. He wanted five 2x8s out of his red oak log. We got 6, plus some beautiful 1" boards. If you have some logs you would like sawn let me know. We can also cut our logs to your specifications.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall! A 52" bar couldn't reach through the trunk. We were hoping for at least 15" of ice. We found it to be 12-13". That is still good for 8,000lb. so we went for it. Video courtesy of Joel Martinez.

I was hoping to run this log through the sawmill, but it may be too big. That is a Stihl 661 w/ 36" bar.

After the deep freeze the guys are back to getting it done. We work year round. (As long as it is above 0°)
