POP! POP! Popcorn textured ceilings in the master suite and main hallway. A contractors technique to not have to fully tape. Hides imperfections.
In these times they are starting to lose favor with customers and it’s becoming more popular to strip them off.
Here’s pictures of start to finish. There is a lot of cover up involved to manage the mess of stripping these down.

Howdy, here’s a project we got to bite into for a client. They had installed new flooring throughout main floor of their house. They had 6 thresholds that they wanted matched as best as possible to the look of the floor. This took some thinking and some steps. As you can see from picture #1 the flooring has a lot going on. Here’s pictures going through our process and the finished product.

#1. flooring
#2. We started with burning the wood to various degrees.
#3 is some of the thresholds with the burn marks next to flooring.
#4. We then picked a base color from the flooring to lay on then wipe down with wet rags and various pressure.
#5. We applied black paint and again wiped with wet rags and varian pressures.
#6. A coat of poly for protection and to bring some depth.
#7 is finished thresholds along side the flooring.
