“How accurate is drone-based photogrammetry?”
Our photogrammetric datasets are consistent with the industry standard of accuracy within one tenth of a foot.
This speaks only to the accuracy of our data when comparing it point-to-point with the traditional method of data collection. Where our data is really set apart, is when taking the sample size of data into account.
A larger sample size gives you a more accurate representation of the actual topography on-site.
