A ring on Kathy's finger wasn't the only one that day.

At our wedding at Laguna Cliffs, one went on each of her daughters too.

All three kids heard the same thing: this wasn't just marrying their mom. It was adopting them.

Then came a daughter of our own.

Four kids. Five grandkids. Almost 30 years.
