GSV Annual Meeting and Vote for New Board Member(s)...

Recently as you may or may not be aware of, GSV POA had attempted to distribute an Annual Meeting Notice and Call for Candidates. The Annual Meeting notice was not sent out by mail to every property as it should be, it was only sent to whatever emails the Office had and if they do not have your email, well you didn’t get the Annual Meeting Notice or Call for Candidates Notice. That is what you call being left out of the loop, and not promoting transparency.

The recent Call for Candidates was presented as though there was only one GSV Board seat available to vote for at this time. What was not made clear was there was actually 3 seats available- not 1. Don’t you think the Board should have announced that there were 3 seats available for new prospective candidates to attempt to join the Board. Is that a REAL election?

Every property should have received a ballot. Did you get yours?

Introduction

We are a group of residents from Glade Springs Village who have gathered together in order to ask some questions. Glade Springs is composed of full-time and part-time residents, families and retirees creating a multi-generational community. Our purpose of this page is to create a positive social media platform for residents to ask questions and share information.

To begin with, we collectively have many questions we would like to have answered by our management and Board such as:

What is being done about providing internet to all GSV residents?

Will the pool be opening?

Will we have access to the clubhouse at Woodhaven and access to food and beverage?

We heard through word of mouth that there was a budget meeting recently and during this meeting we were informed the GSV assessments would be increased in July. We would like to know what added services will be provided with this increase and will we be provided with a breakdown of where our assessment money is spent.

When you Google Glade Springs Village the top posts which appear are all about GSV and attached lawsuits. We would like to see the image of Glade Springs Village improved and put forward as the beautiful community that it is.

These are just a few questions we would like to put forward. Our group will be meeting later this week to go over a list of topics to discuss and research.
