I rarely represent both sides in a transaction, but this one was an exception—and it turned into something truly special. This trustee sale had already been on the market for a couple of months, and I genuinely couldn't figure out why. It’s a gorgeous home with rare features, including its own elevator!

The responsibility of representing both parties is a heavy lift, but the moment I met our buyer—a wonderful young oncologist just starting out—I knew we had the right match. But because he’d just started his career, a large down payment wasn't in the cards yet.

What followed was a masterclass in collaboration. Never before have I seen a buyer, a seller, and an agent work so closely as a unified team to bridge the gap and make a deal happen.

Sometimes the universe redirects you for a reason. We had multiple offers on this beautiful home within just 4 days of listing. But right as we were ready to accept, the buyer backed out.

Earlier, I had spoken to a young man when I thought we’d definitely be in contract. Naturally, I gave him a call when negotiations fell apart. He came as a breath of fresh air-a freshly minted physician looking for his very first home. He had the income, but since he’d just started working, he was a bit short on the downpayment.

The next day, he brought his Mom, and the day after, his Dad. His parents were more than happy to help, but he wanted to buy it entirely on his own. He was so full of gratitude for everything they’d already done for him, and he didn’t want to be a burden. Still, he deeply wanted their opinion and their blessing.

Seeing a glimpse of my own son in him, I decided right then and there that I would do everything in my power to make this work for such a deserving young man. 🌟

I am beyond ecstatic to be in contract representing him, as well as working with these wonderful sellers. This truly feels like a true win-win transaction all around!
