Hot Asana Yoga Studio today announced its plans to locate to the Pemberton Lofts at 541 Bridge St. in the River District. Virginia Gallagher, owner, plans to bring an approach to health and wellness that includes daily classes, nutrition workshops and a retail store with a juice bar.

The city of Danville has won the 2014 Commercial Revitalization Plans & Streetscapes Award for its work in the River District. The award, given by the Virginia Downtown Development Association, recognizes excellence in physical design and planning for revitalization districts.

Refreshed and Renewed

Rippe’s and Downtown Danville are refreshed and renewed. Main Street just completed a makeover from Floyd Street down to the bridges. Check out the new water feature mini-park at MLK Bridge — fantastic!
