Remodeling my home one room at a time has been quite a journey in self-discovery, patience, and creativity. Peep a few photos from what it looked like when I was in escrow! I’ve learned to let go of trying to be perfect and just enjoy the moment. Even now, I realize when I snapped these shots, the coffee table wasn’t lined up, the pillows aren’t straight, there’s no artwork on the walls, and the curtains aren’t hung!

Moreover, this room will look completely different in just a few months from now. Paint + window treatments + lighting + artwork + furniture.

But for now…I love sipping my espresso and moseying over to the sofa to bask in the sun and admire my plants in the morning.

I’m not in a rush. I am present. I am proud of what I can accomplish. I hope I can inspire others to feel the same.

This is my calm.

I have now entered my “1998 Folded Arms” era as a real estate agent. It is the ultimate pinnacle in our industry. One does not simply choose this look, rather, it chooses you. This is how you know I’m super successful, and will not stop until my clients win. Next up - park benches, grocery carts and highway billboards y’all!

Even though we’ve been friends for 18 years…it still feels like yesterday. When we were kids my parents joked that when we hung out it was like the United Nations were meeting for a conference. I love how different we are but also how we’re the same in so many ways. I wish everyone could have friends as solid as you guys…the world would be a better place. My life is better with you in it.

Man, sometimes the stars align and timing works out perfectly. The three of us go back to elementary school and over the past year we’ve been discussing their desires to build careers in real estate. I know them to be passionate, kind, hard-working individuals, and I could not think of a better fit for the culture and community Juliana and I strive to foster.

Matt, a former Air Force member, is an exceptional sales professional, having achieved awards at Best Buy’s luxe brand, Magnolia. Octavia brings business acumen to the table, as she owns and operates her own softball training facility. Did I mention they are also dedicated body builders?! The two of them combined, are a powerhouse that I am grateful to work alongside.

And just like that...our childhood home has sold! 26 offers and $465k over-ask, shattering the record for highest sales price in the neighborhood @ $1,865,000!! Thanks Mom and Pop for taking our advice in getting this place to shine. I’m coming up on 7 years in the real estate industry and this was the most emotional project I’ve ever worked on. Those closest with Juliana and I know just how much family means to us, so when our folks wanted to move...it really was bittersweet. It’s a new chapter in our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful. On top of that, this was one of the most frictionless escrows I’ve ever had...the sweetest family is moving here and going to make new memories that will carry on the legacy and soul of this home...which has supported our family’s development over the last 25 years. We are so content. Life is beautiful. Congrats Ali and Adam, May your family thrive here for years to come!
