It has taken me 2½ years to lose almost 30 pounds, and I still have work to do, but I’m stronger now at 55 than I’ve ever been 💪🏼
Our hormones and metabolism may change as we get older, but that doesn’t mean we have to accept getting weaker. I lift weights three times a week, try to get between 8,000 and 10,000 steps every day and hit my protein goals. I don’t always want to go to the gym, but I go anyway because it’s become part of my life. There’s no quick fix. It’s the consistency that makes the difference. You don’t have to get weaker as you get older, but you do have to put in the work. 👊🏻
