Two generations. One family. A lifetime of lessons.

Sandy and Billy Stimpson took the Chasing Greatness stage with Nathan Cox for what turned into part conversation, part master class in what real leadership looks like. A few pieces of wisdom worth writing down:

→ “You can tell everything about someone by how they treat people who can’t do anything for them.”
→ “Grow the pie. Don’t just take your slice.”
→ “Do the right thing for the right reasons. When you mess up, do the next right thing.”
→ “You can’t lead if you can’t listen.”
→ “Start every morning with the Lord.”

Some of the best teammates never get their name called. Today, we call theirs.

Meet the 2026 class of the 68 Ventures Athletic Scholarship:

Parker Sansing — DB, University of Alabama
Julius Kidd — OL, University of South Alabama
Bradley Thomas — CB, University of South Alabama

Nathan Cox was a walk-on at Alabama. He learned it there and later serving in the Marines: the best teammates lead by serving. They do the unseen work. They lift others up. They never need the credit.

That’s who this scholarship is for. Every year, we honor senior walk-ons who live their programs’ core values — commitment, discipline, effort, toughness, belief. Not the top recruits. Not the future pros. The heart and soul of their teams.

Parker, Julius, and Bradley are exactly who we set out to honor. They follow our 2025 class — Graham Roten, Sam Williams, and Keyshawn Woodyard.

We couldn’t be prouder to stand behind these young men and these programs.

That was the message from our Founder and Chairman, Nathan Cox, at Chasing Greatness 2026 — our fourth annual, and our first in Mobile.

No script. No fluff. Just truth: the work worth doing is going to be hard. It’s going to cost you. But locking arms with the people to your left and right to build something that matters? That’s the price of admission — and it’s what makes it amazing.

The things we’re most proud of were the hardest at the time. That’s the point.
