Wondering what's actually happening in the Quad Cities housing market right now?

Sellers are still very much in the driver's seat. Median sale price is up 9.5% for June year over year to $230,000, and up 5% Year-To-Date.

Housing inventory sits at just 1.9 months supply, anything under 4 months is generally considered a seller's market. This means demand is significantly outpacing supply.

More listings came onto the market this June (up almost 14% from last year), and homes are taking a bit longer to sell (37 days vs 30). But that's not really a shift in leverage — it just means a bit more competition among sellers, not that buyers have gained the upper hand on pricing.
