QC Weekend Picks: 4th of July Edition
Red, White & Boom! — Davenport & Rock Island
Friday, July 3 — 9:30 PM The QC’s biggest fireworks show returns with fireworks launched from two barges on the Mississippi River, synced to music on 97X. Best viewing spots:

Modern Woodmen Park (Davenport)
Schwiebert Riverfront Park (Rock Island) Family-friendly activities start earlier in the evening.
Bettendorf Fourth of July Parade & Festival
Saturday, July 4 — Parade at 10 AM, Festival Noon–10 PM Location: Spruce Hills Drive (Cumberland Square) Includes:
Dozens of food + craft vendors
Family activities (petting zoo, inflatables, games)
Kids Fishing Derby (10 AM–2 PM at Middle Park Lagoon)
Live music all day on two stages (Mercury Brothers, Funktastic 5, Big Hair Mafia, Crazy Ex, and more)
Free popsicles at noon Shuttle service available.
John Deere Classic — TPC Deere Run (Silvis)
July 2 — July 5
While not strictly a Fourth event, it’s one of the QC’s biggest summer traditions and runs through the holiday weekend. Great for families, couples, and anyone wanting a big, outdoorsy event.
