Welcome to our beautiful 4-bedroom, 2 and 1/2-bathroom villa home, Palm Paradise, located in the West Haven development Sanctuary in Davenport, just 12 miles from the magical world of Disney, including Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and approximately 20 miles Universal Studios! The villa is perfect for families, couples, or a group of friends looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation in the Sunshine State. The villa boasts a clear blue heated swimming pool and spa, perfect for unwinding after a long day of adventure. You might even spot some birds or alligators sunning themselves at the preserve behind the house, safely from the enclosed pool area or balcony! The villa has been recently renovated with lots of upgrades including big screen TVs throughout. There are two fun themed bedrooms which are sure to delight children and adults alike, with a Star Wars room complete with digital lighting and lightsabers and a gaming desk with monitors that can double as an office space. The second room is a pretty Princess room that is sure to light up everyone's face. New lights and shower heads have been installed in the bathrooms for a more comfortable experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils and appliances you would need to conjure up some food delights. The villa comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with a king bed in the master suite, a queen bed in the guest room, and 4 single beds. There is WIFI throughout the house with plenty of bandwidth to keep even the hungriest WIFI users happy and the TVs are all connected to Spectrum cable services for some TV downtime.

10 minutes from Champions Gate, the villa is conveniently located to fabulous shopping, restaurants, and plenty of world class golf courses. You can rest assured knowing the home is in a password-protected gated community with digital house locks for added security. If you prefer the beach, no problem we are minutes away from major highways and within 75 minutes or so you will be basking at Clearwater/St Petersburg world class beaches or enjoying the offerings of Tampa including theatres, shopping, restaurants. For those who need to work while enjoying the wonderful surroundings, there is ready made mobile home office. And don't forget about the game room, where you can challenge your family and friends to the legendary Space Invaders Game (can you beat the highest score?) or show off your air hockey or foosball skills! From the private master bedroom private deck, enjoy the stunning views of the nature preserve while sipping a morning coffee or evening cocktail while watching the sunset or sunrise with your loved ones. Just a little tip for anyone booking a villa in Orlando over the winter because I see pool heat mentioned quite a bit.

Yes, you really do need it 😂

People think Florida means hot all year round, but December, January and February can have some pretty chilly nights. It might be lovely sitting by the pool during the day, but that water can get bloody cold overnight. The other thing I did not realise until owning a villa is just how much it actually costs to heat a pool. Depending on the weather and the type of heater, it can easily cost an owner $20 to $40 a day and sometimes more when we get a cold spell. That is why you will see owners charging around $25 to $50 a day for pool heat.

Also check what you are actually getting. Pool heat and spa heat are not necessarily the same thing. A pool might be heated to around 82 to 86 degrees, whereas a properly heated spa can be around 100 degrees. Just because you see a spa in the photos does not automatically mean it is going to be hot. When comparing villas, I would look at the final price rather than just the nightly rate. One villa might look cheaper until another $300 gets added for pool and spa heat.

Some owners charge separately and some include it in the price. I personally prefer including it because nobody wants to arrive on holiday and start deciding whether another $30 or $40 a day is worth having a warm pool.

One last thing. If Orlando gets a really cold night, even a decent pool heater can struggle to keep up. That does not always mean there is something wrong with it. You are basically trying to heat thousands of gallons of water while Mother Nature is doing her best to cool it back down 😂

So if you are coming over in the winter, just ask the owner before booking. Is pool heat included, what temperature is it set at, is the spa heated as well and are there any extra charges?

Nothing better than getting back from the parks on a January evening, grabbing a beer and getting into a warm pool while your mates back in Britain are scraping ice off their windscreens 😂

What a beautiful family and wonderful recommendation from one of our guests

Our Villa Experience

I wanted to write this review as there may be some people on this group who are considering booking a villa in Orlando but are nervous about booking directly with the villa owner. I can’t speak for all villas I can only tell you about our experience.

We are a family of 6 and 2 years ago we booked a villa - Palm Paradise Villa directly through its owner Nicholas. I had never did anything like this before and I was so nervous transferring the money I was convinced we would turn up on the doorstep and there be no booking.

But all my fears disappeared as soon as we arrived.

We had the most amazing stay at Palm Paradise Villa in Davenport, Orlando. The villa was incredibly spacious, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The location was fabulous too, with plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby, making it the perfect base for our holiday.

The pool was absolutely amazing, and we were really impressed that everything was included in the price. It honestly felt like we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I thought it couldn’t get any better — until we booked again this year!

We were flying from Dublin to Orland via Newark. Unfortunately, our flight from Newark to Orlando was cancelled, which could have turned into a very stressful situation. However, Nicholas, the owner, went absolutely above and beyond to help us. He contacted the airline on our behalf to try to arrange delivery of our luggage and even contacted our car hire company to help sort things out for us. His kindness, understanding and willingness to go the extra mile made such a difference at a very difficult time.

You really couldn’t ask for a better host. Nicholas genuinely cares about his guests and it shows. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Orlando, and we will definitely be returning again. Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
