It seems that a lot of people are under the assumption that everyone who uses a real estate agent has to cut the agent a check at close. Did you know that isn't true? In certain cases you would, but in MOST situations our services to a buyer come at no cost to them!

(Copied from Part 1) I seem to find that a lot of people are confused or in the dark about real estate agent compensation. I am using a MADE-UP number of "6 or 7%" for my example here. Every brokerage is different so the split will be different, as well as every agent is different and their rate will be different.

A week ago today my clients and I closed on this beautiful home. They were so easy to work with and so receptive to my help and guidance in this process.
I LOVE their new back porch, I am so excited for all of their morning coffees to be had out there this year. From start to finish they have been great, even their father/father-in-law was a hoot and a half during our showings, seeing family care for them and want to help is a really important thing to be a part of in my opinion. My job is so gratifying and I am so thankful to be able to do this.
