Well yesterday was a whirlwind! Massive thanks to the team at Armor Roofing FL - an early start before 7am, but the team did an amazing job reroofing us in a day!
The old 20+ year roof had reached the end of its life and the team had the old roof off in a flash, repairs done and new roof all done before sunset!

🚨 BREAKING: Final Dates for routes for UK based Airline 👇

The timeline for the closure of the Aer Lingus UK base is officially set. As the airline moves to consolidate its fleet back to Dublin, the specific final departure dates for its three Manchester routes have been confirmed:

🇺🇸 New York JFK - Ends 23 February 2026
🇺🇸 Orlando - Ends 23 March 2026
🇧🇧 Barbados - Ends 27 March 2026

Launched in 2021, the short lived Manchester base offered direct US flights from the North West. Passengers booked after these dates are now being contacted for refunds or rerouting options via Ireland.

Hurricanes are part and parcel of the Florida weather, and the peak of the season is right around the corner.

We’ve been in Florida during two hurricanes - most recently last October for Hurricane Milton, and Hurricane Ian in 2022. Early preparation is key, but we’ve first hand experience to help our guests if one is forecasted to hit.

Tropical Storm Erin has developed in the eastern Atlantic and will continue to move west in the coming days. It will likely become a hurricane by late Wednesday and maybe even a major hurricane by Saturday.
