We had such a wonderful time painting flower pots with our residents! Everyone really embraced their creativity, adding unique colors, patterns, and personal touches to each pot. It was great to see so much joy, laughter, and artistic expression throughout the activity.

Now we’re looking forward to the next step—planting them soon and watching our creations come to life!

Prom night brought so much joy and energy to our community! The theme "A Cinderella Story" was a hit! Our residents truly felt young again—dancing, laughing, and soaking in every moment of the celebration. It was a beautiful reminder that fun and connection have no age limit.

A heartfelt thank you to The Cove Church for bringing their amazing youth group and delicious snacks. Your kindness and enthusiasm made the night even more special for everyone involved!

Pink Day was an absolute hit with our residents, bringing so much joy and energy to the entire community. From the moment the day began, everyone embraced the theme—dressed in their favorite shades of pink, sharing laughs, and complimenting one another’s outfits. The atmosphere felt lighter and more vibrant, with decorations, treats, and activities all tying into the theme and creating a sense of unity and fun. Color Week brought residents together through fun, themed days that boosted creativity, connection, and overall community spirit. 💓

Our residents had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! The day was filled with laughter, festive decorations, and plenty of green spirit. From being best dressed to participating in fun activities and music, everyone joined in the celebration with smiles and excitement. It was a joyful opportunity for residents to socialize, make memories, and embrace the holiday together, making it a truly special and fun-filled day for all.

We had our Hawthorn Adventure Kickoff this afternoon with lots of songs, trivia and fun. We are traveling to the Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland. We study different countries each January to keep things lively during the winter months without leaving Williams Place!

We celebrated Jane's 102nd birthday today with her. She has been at Williams Place since our beginning year, and she was a big part of our original corn hole team. She said that age is just a number, and that tennis shoes hurt her feet and that is why she wears dress shoes!

What a big crowd New Years Eve, as we enjoyed bringing in the new year! It does us good to just have a good time together! Happy New Year!

Meals for Paws! The residents enjoyed making dog treats for the pets whose folks receive Meals on Wheels. We all worked together and had a great time. As you can see, we even helped each other get our aprons on. It is nice to get back in the kitchen, it brings back old memories!
