Itโs February 1st and we step boldly into Black History Month. ๐คโ๐ฝโ๐พโ๐ฟ๐คโค๏ธ๐๐๐ค
In a world that feels increasingly racially hostile especially here in America, this month is our sacred pause and our collective push forward. What you see captured here is more than a photo. Itโs Black women choosing collaboration over competition, sisterhood over silos, and purpose over performative progress.
This is what it looks like when Black women build together in business, in faith, in community, in civic life, and in real estate. At , we donโt just close deals; we do life together. We steward resources. We circulate dollars. We protect one anotherโs joy. We believe deeply in group economics, because history has taught us that when we pool our brilliance, our buying power, and our beliefโwe win.
As we mark 100 years of Black History Month in 2026, we honor its origin story. In February 1926, historian and author Carter G. Woodson launched Negro History Week through the Association for the Study of Negro Life and Historyโplanting a seed so that our stories would never be erased, minimized, or forgotten. A century later, we are still telling the truth of who we are and writing new chapters.
Let this month be a call to action:
โข Be unwavering in collaboration.
โข Be intentional about where and how we spend.
โข Be bold in leveraging our collective power especially as wealth distribution regresses on the darker side of history.
Black history is not just what we survived.
Itโs what we are strategically building together.
Hereโs to Black women. Hereโs to unity. Hereโs to legacy.
Happy Black History Month. ๐คโ๐ฝโ๐พโ๐ฟ๐คโค๏ธ๐๐๐ค
