Opening Day may have started with a blizzard, but it’s ending with a bang! Much of our summit terrain opened after the worst of this morning’s severe weather passed, and there’s more trail openings on the way! We’re still actively pushing out snowmaking mounds, and we’re hopeful that we’ll have 100% of the mountain open for skiing and snowboarding by Saturday!

There’s never been this much snow on the mountain this early in the season. Thanks to our continued investments in our snowmaking system and mountain infrastructure, we already have a snow base and conditions we usually wouldn't see until January!

Winter is already here, and you should be, too! Hit the mountain this weekend for the best early season conditions there’s ever been at Timberline Mountain!

Get ready! We’re excited to share that Opening Day is set for Thursday, December 5th!

We had 35 hours total of snowmaking despite challenging conditions, and the much better snowmaking weather we’ve been expecting is almost here!

Beginning this weekend, snowmaking will return in full force. With the team putting all of our efforts into snowmaking, we’re looking forward to having tons of terrain and incredible conditions for Opening Day!

Timberline Mountain is now 100% open!
