Please read this media release for work which was scheduled to begin two days ago.

MEDIA RELEASE
Lapeer Rd. widening project begins - the Genesee County Road Commission will begin construction on Lapeer Rd. between M-15 and the CL Ward driveway on Monday, August 24. The road will be one way with westbound traffic maintained. The detour takes eastbound drivers from Lapeer Rd. to Gale Rd. to Davison Rd. to M15 and vice versa. The project is expected to be completed at the end of November. Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination. If you have questions, please contact Gerrad Godley, Construction Manager, at 810-767-4920 ext. 236. --- Please slow down in work zones, for your family and ours.
