Realtors!!! Let’s talk about them.
The truth is, Realtors are GREAT!! We partner with them frequently and they are effective for selling updated homes that need little to no work done for top dollar prices.
Did you also know that a Realtor is actually NOT REQUIRED to buy or sell a property? Yep! You don’t NEED a broker to buy a stock and you don’t NEED a Realtor to buy real estate.
If you sell to us, we work directly with each other without a “middle man” so you pay NO Realtor commission and typically NO closing cost!!
So it’s up to you which route to go! If you are patient, want top dollar, your home will have no issues passing inspection or you are willing and able to make repairs, you don’t mind having a very ‘public’ transaction, and if you don’t mind having multiple showings or open houses, then a Realtor is probably the way to go!!
If you are ready and motivated to sell fast, don’t want to make repairs, have concerns about passing an inspection that would be required by someone who is getting a traditional mortgage, and prefer a more private transaction...then working with someone like us might be better! We also love working with landlords who are ready to sell their rentals with minimal disruption for their valued tenants that comes with an “off market” transaction.
Buying or selling a property is a HUGE thing that you certainly want to get right and be educated about!
