Buyers Have More of an Upper Hand: With a significantly slower market compared to the post-pandemic highs, Georgia is expected to see a decrease in home prices by nearly 20%.
Mortgage Rates Have Almost Doubled: Mortgage rates increased 33.13% from May 2022’s 5.10% to 6.79% for the month of May, 2023.
Sellers are Slowly Coming Back: The number of listings increased by 70.09% in April 2023. From 7,985 in December 2023.
It’s Taking Longer to Sell: Georgia homes stayed on the market for an average of 34 days, up from 16 days from last year.
