🏡 Describe your job, but make it sound illegal…

“I get access to random people’s houses, take photos of all their stuff, put those photos on the internet, invite strangers to walk through the property, negotiate hundreds of thousands of dollars on their behalf, and then tell everyone to sign documents they barely understand.”

Then everybody hugs, takes pictures with a giant key, and posts about it on Facebook. 😂

Wait… hear us out. 😅

One of our first-time home buyers was pre-approved for $350,000 and was excited to start house hunting. Then they found a home listed at $325,000 and asked their lender for a payment breakdown.

The estimated payment? 💸 Around $2,300/month.

Cue the sticker shock. 😳

Here’s the lesson: Don’t focus solely on the purchase price or what you’re approved for.

Focus on the PAYMENT.

A lender may tell you what you can buy, but the better question is: What payment are you comfortable making every month?

The smartest buyers start with their monthly budget and work backward from there.
