Hey, I’m getting a load together to take down there soon. I purged the linen closet and realized I had a lot of stuff I do not need plus I always receive a ton of throws and blankets for Christmas so it’s a good time to rotate out the old ones and give them to the pups. I live at the front of the mountain by CVS if you would like to drop off on my porch or I can meet you and pick up any you would like to donate.
Would you please lend us a paw? ❤
We’re running super low on linens and could really use your help! With more than 500 animals in our care all summer long, and more arriving each day, we’re flying through linens faster than ever before. These linens are essential, as they are often the first soft, cozy thing a scared shelter pet has to snuggle with. Plus, they help keep both the animals and their kennels clean and comfy.
As we head into the colder months, we could truly use every bit of help we can get! We’re in need of sheets (top and fitted), towels, blankets, washcloths, hand towels, and pillowcases. Twin, full, and queen sizes work best, but we’ll happily take anything you can spare. The animals won’t mind a few holes or stains, we promise! 😉
Just a quick note: please avoid donating pillows or comforters stuffed with feathers or microbeads.
We’re open from 12 to 6 PM Tuesday through Friday, and 10 to 4 PM on weekends. If you can’t make it during those hours, no worries! You can leave your donations in one of the weatherproof bins located by each entrance. The animals thank you in advance for making their kennels warm and cozy! 🥰
