After nearly 2 years of searching, 3 contracts that fell apart due to inspection issues, and even considering building a home instead, my buyers have finally found "the one"!

This month officially closed out at just over $1.7 million in sales volume, and while I’m incredibly grateful and excited, moments like this also make me reflect on what people don’t always see behind the scenes of real estate.

Social media tends to show the closing photos, the sold signs, and the exciting moments — but not every deal makes it to the closing table.

This month alone, I also had 4 homes under contract that ultimately fell apart for different reasons. In this business, you learn quickly that even when everyone has the best intentions, deals can take unexpected turns. Some of the transactions that DID close this month have actually been in the works since February, and along the way we’ve had to adapt, problem solve, renegotiate, overcome obstacles, and keep pushing forward.

That’s why I never take a closing — or a client — for granted.

To every buyer and seller who trusted me to guide them through one of the biggest decisions of their lives: thank you. Your trust means more to me than you know.

And a huge shoutout to my business partners, lenders, title companies, inspectors, and everyone behind the scenes who answer calls, solve problems, stay accessible, and help make these deals happen. Motherhood is beautiful… but it’s also exhausting in ways people don’t always talk about.

To the moms carrying the mental load, juggling schedules, worrying about everyone else before themselves, trying to build a career, keep a home together, show up for their kids, their spouse, their friends — all while quietly running on empty sometimes — I see you.

Some days we look like we have it all together, when really our minds are racing a million miles an hour behind the scenes.

Being a mom isn’t just the big moments. It’s the invisible ones too. The worrying, the sacrificing, the late nights, the constant pressure to be everything for everyone.

So today, I hope every mom gives herself a little grace. You are doing better than you think you are, and the love you pour into your family matters more than words can explain.

SOLD | 1079 Green Acres 🌿🏡

This deal tested my knowledge, patience, problem-solving skills, and honestly… my sanity a few times too. 😂 There were at least 3 different moments where I truly thought this transaction was dead, but today my buyer officially gets the keys to their very first home — and it was SO worth the fight.

And this property? One of the coolest, most unique homes I’ve had the opportunity to work on.

Yes, it’s a manufactured home… BUT you own the land, and the detached shop setup is an absolute dream for a biker, mechanic, car enthusiast, or anyone who loves a badass workspace. The seller had added electric, a loft area with its own porch entrance, a bay door, tiled bonus room space, and so much character throughout the entire setup.

The home itself had also been beautifully remodeled with tile floors throughout, updated bathrooms, gorgeous kitchen finishes, granite countertops — truly the whole package.

But behind every “just sold” post is usually a story people never see.

The biggest hurdle? The roof had exceeded its insurable life expectancy, and several additions/improvements to the shop had been completed by the seller himself, which created FHA and insurance challenges that had to be addressed before we could close.

What followed was weeks of coordinating between inspectors, contractors, engineers, appraisers, lenders, agents, reinspections, repairs, insurance requirements, and nonstop problem solving to keep this deal together.

But THIS is why I love real estate.

Not because every deal is easy — but because sometimes helping someone achieve homeownership means adapting, advocating, and refusing to quit when things get complicated.

Huge shoutout to everyone involved who worked together to get this across the finish line. It truly took a team effort.

And to my buyer — thank you for trusting me through all the ups, downs, stress, and uncertainty. Your new home is seriously one of the coolest properties ever, and I’m so happy we made it happen. 🤍
