I’ve never been more proud of my son than I am right now! He came from being my assistant to the top producer in Orlando! He’s an amazing man, son and father I couldn’t love him more or be more proud of him!🌟🌟💖💖💖
In 2021 I sold 5 homes for a total of $1.9 Million in Sales Volume. After splits with my brokerage, I brought home $30,712.00
In 2025, only 4 years later, I closed 44 transactions with over $15.5 Million in Volume.
2021 was tough. Real tough. Ask my wife. LOL. We were barely getting by. I needed to do something to provide for my family. I remembered working part time for my mother at ReMax during the height of the market in the 2000’s as her unlicensed assistant. Business was booming for her and every other Realtor, and I thought “This is easy! These Realtors are making a lot of money!”
Then 2008 happened.
We all know what happened then. The real estate market crashed, and a lot of people associated with the industry, (Realtors, mortgage brokers, Title officers, construction workers, etc.) either had their incomes reduced drastically or lost their jobs completely. I was a part of the latter group.
Life moved on and I transitioned into several other jobs with companies I owned. But I never forgot about real estate. I always thought that that could be a career for me.
I first got my license in 2019 as just a side hustle to make some extra money helping friends and family. Didn’t take it seriously. I had other income coming in.
But after COVID everything changed. My previous income was gone, and I needed to figure out what I was going to do.
That’s when I decided to try Real Estate as a full-time career after my wedding in March 2021. I was going to come back from the Bahamas and hit the ground running!
I got hit in the face is what I did!
I realized I had no way to make the phone ring at a time when I really needed it to. I didn’t have a database or clientele to rely on at the height of the COVID-Post-COVID market.
It took months to get my first sale. I would get up early each day and work until 5pm in my home office trying to figure out how to make this work. I listened to podcasts, watched YouTube videos, went to Masterminds, took agents out to lunch. Did everything I could to learn what successful people were doing.
And then I went out and tried it. And I failed. Not all the time. But more no’s than yeses. But I studied the craft. I learned the contracts that we use. The addenda we use. I learned about escrow, the functions of a title company, the inspection period, the types of loans and requirements for each.
While I was slow, I armed myself with knowledge. I created relationships with like-minded hungry individuals like me. I didn’t quit.
And then it started happening. I threw everything at the wall to see what stuck. And things were sticking!
I tried every free referral service out there and hit the jackpot when a good friend of mine told me about Veterans United Home Loans. I applied to be an Orlando referral agent with them and totally forgot about it when 6 months later I got an email saying that I had been accepted to join their network. It was a probationary acceptance, and I had to earn my right to keep my place out of the 113 local agents in the network.
Since then, i have been in the network for just over 3 years and have gone from #113 in the Orlando network to the top producing agent in Orlando! But I couldn’t have done it without Veterans United and Atrium Realty. They forever changed my life!
And I also could not have done it without my wife, Alexa Coluccio! Without her support, and her ability to grind and make ends meet when I started, I may have had to quit to find a more stable income. She was my rock during the hardest moments. And now she is my partner in business, as well as in life! And when things started getting too hectic for me in Real Estate, I asked her to join me, and I am forever grateful that she did!
Today, she has her own database of clients and closed 24 deals in only her second year in the business! Now I am learning from her!
All of this is to say that am extremely proud and humbled by what I’ve been able to accomplish in these past 5 years. I couldn’t have done it if I didn’t love my job.
And I do love my job. It may make me want to jump off a bridge one day or jump for joy the next, but I can definitely say that what I do is not redundant.
Every client and every contract are completely different. That’s what makes this fun for me. It’s a business of human beings, no matter how much technology tries to take us over (Keep trying Zillow! And bring it on, A.I.!!).
So, trust that when I am working for you (or your best friend, your uncle, or your mom’s cousin’s college roommate), I really do care about helping you and protecting you through your journey.
I promise you three things when I work for you: Honesty, Knowledge, and Service.
Because those are the three things that I built my business on back when I had zero sales.
