A few LOW COST ideas to get your home ready for the market!

1) Pressure wash the driveway, pool deck, and house. Pressure washing will brighten up the whole look of your property! (And you get a lot of good thinking done while pressure washing)

2) Wash the windows, inside and out. This is a big job, so you could commit to 3 or 4 windows a day. And let the sun shine in! You will be amazed at how those clear panes brighten the room!

3) Clean the baseboards. Reveal that nice paint under the dust. This is a great way to freshen up the room.

4) Organize the closets! Commit to one closet every few days. You will find all sorts of interesting things you forgot you had.

6) Mulch the flower beds, pull the weeds, create that curb appeal!

7) Take a good look at the front door. How is the welcome area of the house? Is the doorknob and lock clean and free of rust? What would make it more appealing? This is the FIRST thing people see when they view the home.

When you finish with these low cost but somewhat time consuming chores- you might decide to stay in your house! But if you sell- it will sell faster!
